We bid farewell to our little paradise in Castelbello, Italy and headed out towards Menton, France. Our plan was to spend three nights in Menton, however, we weren’t sure what we would find at the border.
We made a quick stop in Lavenome, Italy to say “hello” to Massimo, owner of Frascio (the company Jonathan works with).
We arrived at our destination with no problems at all. We crossed into France with no formal border crossing! Easy peasy! After a seven hour drive, we were thrilled to enjoy happy hour on our balcony with Patte and Mike! Our view is of the Mediterranean Sea!!!
The four of us walked down by the water, found a quaint little cafe and devoured a salad, pizza and wine!
Let’s just say it was an early night!
